How We Track New Ghost Driver Cars

A recent addition is not automatically a currently available dealership car.

Ghost Driver changes quickly during active development, so a “new” label is based on recent update coverage and the date a car entered our tracked dataset. We do not assume that every recent car is still in the dealership, and we keep limited availability separate from recency.

This distinction matters when a new update includes both normal dealership additions and time-sensitive showroom cars. A car may be new and limited, new and permanent, or recently discussed but not currently purchasable. Those states should not be collapsed into one badge.
